Re: Palms Hotel
A great shame for Ardleigh Green where my old dear lives.

On a fast moving dual carriageway , nearest shop 24 hour petrol station with a M&S.

Whoever thinks that is a good place for refugee centre-hostal for families is off their rocker.

Re: Palms Hotel
Used to be a good Friday night out at Palms years ago , lots of ‘mature ‘ women of a certain age for their club night and with the cheap hotel rooms it was a bit of an eye opener on the few occasions I stayed over for the same cost as a cab home... one time went back to my room as the disco had finished and 20 minutes later there’s load of noise coming from the room next door...popped my head outside to see a group of about 7 or 8 guys milling around drinking and music coming out as loud as you like at 3am... one of the lads says ‘ here mate , have a look at this’.... their door was wide open and on the bed this quite fit looking ‘older woman’ is on her back on the bed with one guy shagging her and 3 or 4 others surrounding .... and an older guy sitting in a chair in the corner filming it with one of the old VHS cameras. Turned out they were a well known swinger couple who did this regularly at Palms on a Friday, these boys were having her regularly..., they’d book a room and the husband got his rocks off watching his wife get banged and making videos. It was surreal but it was that kind of place years ago , all sorts went on there.

Is the one in Harold Hill full then, or have the occupants raised a complaint about the neighbourhood?

I always assumed it was a front for something?

Hard to imagine actual customers staying there on purpose.

Politics 101, put these places in constituencies where you haven’t got a hope of winning a seat.

Re: Palms Hotel
From the brand new fans going in for each room & the amount of refurbishment which is on-going - yep looks a great deal.

Re: Palms Hotel
So it'll become nicer to be in then?
